It's almost here! I'm trying hard to imagine the day I first heard I got accepted to study abroad in London back in September.. the months since then have been spent obsessing, planning, preparing, and otherwise wreaking havoc on everyone I know. With the help of my close friends and amazing family, I am equipped with 2 packed-to-the-brim suitcases, countless copies of my passport (hideous, vomit-inducing picture and all), and some freshly converted pounds so that I'm not a complete pauper upon my arrival. My 8 PM flight tomorrow feels like an eternity away, but I know that the entire spring semester will fly by in that bittersweet way college is so famous for in general. So, to make it last as long as possible, what better way than to blog about all my trials and tribulations?
I'm going to try and write a few times a week about all the new experiences, places and people I encounter during these next 4 months. Comments are welcome and encouraged! A first-timer like me in a new continent, far from her humble Brooklyn upbringings, trying to make it in arguably the most hip city in the world... I smell humor.
